Going green should be part of the new normal habit.
Senator Sonny Angara has encouraged the public to go strawless when ordering food for take out or dine-in at restaurants. Such small simple step will help the environment, especially the world’s oceans and marine life, in a big way.
“Whether it’s take out or dine-in (once MGCQ kicks in), please include going strawless in our new habits for the #NewNormal to save our oceans and its marine life. #OceansDay #WorldOceansDay,” Angara wrote on Facebook.
Angara led by example by skipping plastic straws during a recent burger run with his buddy Senator Joel Villanueva. A photo of the eco-friendly dynamic duo was shared on the senator’s Facebook page.
