Pati amo nila ikulong! Ping wants troll armies, farms ‘annihilated’ and ‘erased’

It’s high time troll armies and troll farms be annihilated and erased from the surface of the earth, Sen. Panfilo Lacson said Saturday.

But Lacson said this is not enough, as the principals and financiers of such operators should also be exposed and punished with long prison terms.

“Yes. It’s time troll armies were ‘annihilated’ and troll farms ‘erased from the surface of the earth’. Their principals and financiers must then be exposed and punished with long prison terms,” Lacson said on his Twitter account.

Lacson is among the personalities who have been at the receiving end of trolls and bashers, from all political affiliations.

In a tweet last year, he said a sound advice for those dealing with bashers who they cannot ignore would be to insult them back hard enough.

“Probably a sound advice to deal with a basher you can’t ignore: Insult him back hard enough. Give him what he deserves. Kill him by natural cause, or make his blood boil to suffer a stroke. Never mind if you’re dealing with a troll. For all you know, you’re hitting a real person,” he said at the time.

Even during his early days as a senator, Lacson had experienced old-fashioned “bashing” at the hands of the Arroyo administration, which employed paid “witnesses” to implicate him in various crimes.

But the courts eventually dismissed such charges against Lacson after finding such claims to be unbelievable.

Earlier this week, Lacson co-sponsored a Senate bill seeking harsher penalties against false testimony not only against fake witnesses but also against their principals.
