Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV is looking forward to the day when President Duterte is no longer in office.
In a latest post on Twitter, Trillanes is confident the country will recover from the latest challenges, including the coronavirus pandemic, when Duterte is gone.
“Kapit lang. Aahon din muli ang Pilipinas pag wala na si duterte,” the former rebel soldier tweeted on June 28.
Trillanes earlier blamed Duterte for the country’s problems, from corruption and inefficiency in government to the alarming rise in coronavirus cases. He urged people not to let Duterte get away with the accountability for these problems.
“Sabi ni duterte wag daw magsisihan. Well, we refuse to let him get away w/ it,” he said in a recent tweet.
“Kaya ikalat ntin ito: Si duterte ang may ksalanan kung bkit palpak at corrupt ang gobyerno, bagsak ang ekonomiya, mhirap ang buhay, mraming COVID cases, walang msakyan, at lubog na sa utang ang bansa,” he said.
