Senator Risa Hontiveros had an adorable mom-daughter moment while on a magazine shoot years ago.
The senator became sentimental when she found her old photographs during house cleaning. She shared precious film negatives on Instagram on Sunday June 7 with a message about taking care of the family. The photos showed a younger Hontiveros happily posing with her daughter.
“Sentimental find while cleaning at home: negatives from a magazine shoot with one of my daughters two decades ago! ❤,” she wrote on Instagram.
As she walked down memory lane, Hontiveros grabbed the chance to remind people to cherish their loved ones especially during these troubled times. Hontiveros is a solo parent to four children.
“Especially during these troubled times, let’s cherish our loved ones and the memories we share with them. Huwag natin kalimutan na kailangan natin alagaan ang isa’t isa,” she said.
She also urged people to find time to rest while facing these difficult period. “Continue to fight — but remember to rest. Happy and blessed Sunday, mga mahal,” she said.
