Many people are struggling with the coronavirus health crisis but hope is not lost.
Senate President Tito Sotto tried to encourage the public to keep the faith and stay optimistic about the future even in the face of the pandemic.
Sotto said people should be “positive about the future” and be “negative” of the dreaded coronavirus illness.
“GOD permitting, every beginning is an opportunity for hope for a better tmrw as individuals and as a nation. We have to be POSITIVE about the future, and be NEGATIVE of the covid19,” he tweeted Monday morning.
Sotto made the remarks ahead of President Duterte’s fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) at the House of Representatives in Quezon City. He is expected to discuss his plans for the nation in battling the pandemic and cushioning its blow on the people and the economy.
