The online marketplace launched by Vice President Leni Robredo is getting bigger.
Robredo has announced on Facebook that they will soon open the online palengke in Muntinlupa City following the success in other cities.
The “Community Mart,” first launched in Kamuning market last May, is an online delivery service for market products sold by small vendors in a community. Tricycle drivers are hired to deliver the products to online shoppers using the mobile app.
“As our Pasig Community Mart breached P10 Million in sales, we’re opening a new one in Muntinlupa,” Robredo said.
Robredo said they initiated a dry of the online marketplace in Muntinlupa and will soon announce its formal opening.
“We are on our dry run now. Please stay tuned for further announcements on when we can already accept orders. This means we would be able to help more market vendors and tricycle drivers,” she said.
