Malacañang confirmed on Sunday that President Rodrigo Duterte will hold a virtual meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Wednesday.
“It’s just an entry in his appointments diary. It’s recorded as ‘Aqaba Process’ on September 2,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said when asked to provide details on his attendance to the virtual conference by the King of Jordan.
Roque did not elaborate on the subject.
The Aqaba process is a multi-national forum initiated by Abdullah to enhance global efforts against terrorism.
