Mar Roxas, kids give drive-by birthday surprise for Korina

Broadcaster Korina Sanchez just got the best birthday surprise this year.

The former Kapamilya tv host was working away from home when her hubby Mar Roxas and children Pepe and Pilar made a sweet birthday drive-by.

In an Instagram post shared by Korina, the twins had birthday signs for their mom as their dad drove past the second home of Korina. “Happy birthday mommy,” read one of the signs with a hand print of the kids.

Korina said she was “touched” and “happy” with the birthday surprise from her family. The broadcast journalist turns 56 on October 5.

She said she was supposed to visit her family but they managed to pull off the surprise first.

“Pero ito ang DA BEST. My kids visited and did a surprise visit to me in their covid-free bubble driven by husband to just give me their birthday greetings awwwwwww……. soooooo happpyyyyyy!” she wrote on Instagram.

“Naunahan nila ako kase I was about to visit them at home through the glass doors. They understand Mama has to work. But I see them more often now. So touched, so happy. Love you, Pepe en Pilar” she added.

Sweet reunion. Akala ko magtatagal pa mashado bago ako makabalik sa pamimigay ng tsinelas. Ahahahaha, yessss! Am back!
