Palace thanks God for low casualty figure from typhoon ‘Rolly’

By Prince Golez

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque thanked God that the devastation brought by typhoon “Rolly” was not as bad as in Eastern Visayas when typhoon “Yolanda” struck the region in 2013.

In terms of damages and casualties, Roque said Rolly is “incomparable” to Yolanda.

A total of 6,340 lives were claimed after Yolanda devastated the Visayas region. Rolly, on one hand, only killed at least 10 people in Bicol region.
