Filipinos spend the most time on social networks, according to online statistics portal Statista.
According to the survey of nearly 700,000 people, internet users in the Philippines spend an average of 4 hours on social media each day.
“The Philippines spent the most time connected to social networks, devoting almost four hours a day to the digital social sphere,” the website said.
Other countries with the highest social media usage rate include Nigeria (3 hours and 43 minutes), India (2 hours and 36 minutes), and the United States of America (2 hours and 8 minutes).
China (1 hour and 57 minutes), United Kingdom (1 hours and 41 minutes), Germany (1 hour and 20 minutes), and Japan (46 minutes) also spend the most time using social media.
