Malacañang is hoping that Vice President Leni Robredo will make true on her promise to serve as a guinea pig for the coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine.
Robredo yesterday said she is ready to be among the first to receive the vaccine to allay public fears about its safety.
“Nauna na si Presidente na magsabi na willing siya. Let’s hope she can be a guinea pig,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a televised briefing Monday.
In August, President Rodrigo Duterte offered himself as a guinea pig for a controversial Russian Covid-19 vaccine.
