Hintayin nalang natin ang autopsy! Palace urges restraint in Dacera case

By Prince Golez

MalacaƱang on Wednesday advised both parties on the case of flight attendant Christine Dacera, who was found dead in a Manila hotel room on New Year’s Day, “to reserve their judgements until all the facts are in.”

Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo urged everyone to exercise restraint as they await the final result of a thorough investigation by our law enforcement authorities.

“Speculations are freely aired that may not jibe with what the real cause of death is and the circumstances surrounding it,” Panelo said in a statement.

The autopsy findings on Dacera, he added, is a guide to determine the cause of her death.

“Should there be evidence that a crime was committed, then this administration assures that the offenders thereof, regardless of who they are, will be dealt with in accordance with law that justice may be served,” the Palace official said.
