Malacañang condoled with the family of former Oriental Mindoro Rep. Reynaldo Umali, who died Thursday due to cardiac arrest.
Umali was diagnosed with late-stage liver cancer and coronavirus disease (Covid-19) last December.
“Bago tayo magsimula, nakikiramay po kami sa pamilya at mga kasamahan ni former Oriental Mindoro 2nd district Congressman Reynaldo Umali,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a televised briefing.
Roque also expressed condolences to the family of Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Danilo Lim who passed away Wednesday after testing positive for coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
“Tayo po’y mag-alay ng sampung segundong silensyo para alalahanin sila at lahat ng pumanaw dahil sa Covid-19,” he said.
