Kris Aquino has sold her house in Quezon City as her attempt to reconnect with her old flame, former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, was given a political spin by detractors.
In a 23-minute video uploaded on Facebook Sunday (March 21), Aquino said her house inside the posh Greenmeadows Subdivision was sold in December last year.
She said she and her sons will be living in a condominium unit in a different city in Metro Manila for now.
The Queen of All Media said she had asked permission from her youngest son, James “Bimby” Aquino Yap Jr., when she and Bautista tried to reconnect recently.
To quote my son nung pinag-uusapan namin, sinabi niya, ‘I can see, Mama, how you look at him. You do not look at others the way you look at him. If he is your happiness, then he has my vote,’” Aquino said.
The actress, however, said she doesn’t want the word “vote” to be misinterpreted as support for any political plans Bautista might have.
“HB’s plans, his political plans, whatever plans he has. They are his own,” Aquino said.
