President Rodrigo Duterte will address the nation tonight, Malacañang said Thursday.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said Duterte is expected to discuss the details of his phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Mamaya po magkakaroon ng Talk to the People ang Pangulo. Siya na po magkukuwento kung ano ang nangyari sa kanilang usapan ni President Putin. So this will be a Talk to the People tonight,” Roque said during his virtual presser.
On Monday President Rodrigo Duterte talked with Putin via teleconference, where they tackled the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic as well as defense and security cooperation between the two countries.
Both leaders also underscored the importance of increasing capacity to produce more Covid-19 vaccine doses to ensure all people have access to vaccines.
