May sked pagpasok: House remains on limited operations until May 16

The House of Representatives will not resume its regular operation on Monday, May 3 and instead continue its limited operation until the resumption of session on May 17.

“Consistent with our policy to maintain the health and safety of the House of Representatives’ officials and employees from the continous spread of COVID-19 virus, please be advised that regular work operations shall resume on Monday, 17 May 2021 instead of May 3, 2021,” the memorandum read.

The Memorandum issued by the House Secretary General Mark Llandro Mendoza, said that selected departments/offices will operate for two to three days per week depending on the workload.

These offices are Office of the Secretary General, Administrative Department, Engineering and Physical Facilities Department, Finance Department, Legislative Operations Department, Legislative Security Bureau and Information and Communications Technology Service.

The Medical and Dental Services was instructed to conduct antigen tests from Monday to Wednesday for those who will report during the skeletal work period. It will continue to maintain a skeletal workforce on Thursday to attend to medial concerns.

A maximum of three staff members of Congressional Offices will be allowed from Monday to Wednesday. Their names should be submitted to the Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms to be allowed entry.
