The country is in good hands with Police General Guillermo Eleazar at helm of the country’s police force.
Senator Sherwin Gatchalian made the statement as he commended Eleazar for his “no-nonsense” and “action-oriented” attitude as chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP). The country’s top cop got the high praises when he recently dropped by at Gatchalian’s office.
“This is the 2nd time General Eleazar visited me in the office but this time as our new Chief PNP,” Gatchalian wrote on Instagram.
“I admire him for his no nonsense action-oriented attitude. I know we’re in good hands,” he said.
President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Eleazar as the PNP chief last May, replacing Gen. Debold Sinas who retired last month.
Before his appointment,Eleazar served as the PNP deputy chief for administration. He is a member of the Philippine Military Academy “Hinirang” Class of 1987.
