More than 10 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in the Philippines, Malacañang announced Monday.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said a total of 10,065,414 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been given out as of June 27, 2021.
“Ang average daily administered doses sa nakaraan pitong araw ay nasa 236,867 doses. Tiwala tayo na maabot natin ang 500,000 daily vaccination rate na ating target basta patuloy ang pagdating ng suplay ng bakuna sa ating bansa,” Roque said in his televised briefing.
The Palace official also reminded everyone that Covid-19 vaccines require two doses for full protection.
“Tandaan po hindi kumpleto ang kalahati, kinakailangan nating kumpletuhin ang dalawang dose na bakuna para sa pinakamalakas na proteksyon,” he added.
