Leyte Rep. Lucy Torres Gomez is sharing several tips on boosting mental health to help people feel good and function well.
Building a good mental health would help improve a person’s state of wellbeing, according to the lawmaker. The mental help tips ranged from staying active, getting enough sleep, and getting medical help if needed.
“Ang malusog at maayos na pag-iisip ay nagdudulot ng maganda at masiglang pangangatawan. Kaya lagi nating tandaan na ang mental health ay dapat alagan,” the solon wrote on Instagram.
Here are Rep. Lucy’s tips to promote good mental health:
- Stay active
- Sleep eight hours a day
- Get medical or professional help if needed
- Enjoy time with family and friends
- Share any health concern with trusted people
- Eat healthy food
