Senate President Tito Sotto on Wednesday gave President Rodrigo Duterte a passing grade of 7.5 for his “overall performance” as the chief executive.
He said he gave a passing grade as he felt Duterte had some accomplishments on a number of areas, particularly the war on drugs.
“Siguro sa overall performance, kasama na lahat yung mga ginawa natin at saka yung mga nagawang part of the primary concerns as far as illegal drugs. Siguro I will give him a 7.5,” Sotto said in a DZMM interview.
But the Senate leader said it was hard to rate Duterte on corruption in the government.
“Well, mahirap masabi ngayon sapagkat hindi ko talaga alam kung ano ang sitwasyon nila as far as corruption is concerned,” he said.
“Alam ko, galit siya sa corruption eh pero may mga naglalabas ng corruption na issue na hindi naa-aksyunan eh, so mahirap graduhan ito. Baka naman may mga ginagawa na hindi natin alam. Mahirap maging judgmental, ika nga,” Sotto said.
