Former senator Antonio Trillanes will release next week a corruption exposé involving President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go, he announced Thursday (July 1).
Trillanes chided Duterte for keeping details of his bank accounts secret while telling Senator Manny Pacquiao that all government agencies will cooperate in corruption-related investigations.
“Ang tapang ni duterte kay Pacquiao, sabi nya mag-cooperate daw lahat sa investigation. Pero nung pinapapirma ko ng waiver para sa P2.2 billion BPI bank accounts nya, napakaraming alibi. Next week, may ilalabas akong corruption nila duterte at Bong Go,” the former senator tweeted.

Trillanes claimed in 2016 that Duterte had P211 million in his account at the Bank of the Philippine Islands. The then-Davao City mayor denied the allegation, but later confirmed the account’s existence.
Duterte, however, said his bank account did not contain the amount alleged by Trillanes.
Earlier this week, Duterte challenged Pacquiao to identify corrupt government agencies after the senator claimed that corruption became “three times worse” under the current administration.
Pacquiao named the Department of Health as a government agency where corruption was rampant. Health Secretary Francisco Duque, however, denied the allegation.
