Some online personalities are celebrating Senator Manny Pacquiao’s loss to Cuban Yordenis Ugas for the WBA welterweight title.
Opposition blogger Jover Laurio, known as Pinoy Ako Blog, disputed Bayan Muna party-list Rep. Carlos Zarate’s statement that Pacquiao deserves to be congratulated for his effort in the boxing ring.
“Nope. Ilang araw siyang absent sa Congress. Sa gitna ng pandemya umalis siya. Unang natalo ang bayan sa labang ito. Hindi niya deserve icongratulate,” Laurio tweeted.
