Former Senator Loren Legarda is mourning the death of her dearest friend photographer Raymund Isaac.
Legarda expressed grief over the loss of Isaac, remembering him as a beautiful and selfless friend. She also thanked Isaac for letting the people see the beauty of the world through his photographs.
Isaac passed away on Sept. 3 in San Francisco, California at the age of 59. He was battling a coronavirus infection prior to his passing.
“Oh Raymund, you will surely be missed. You were such a beautiful, selfless, sensitive soul, dear friend,” Legarda said in an Instagram post on Sept. 5, 2021.
“You made me laugh, you were patient with me, you photographed me for almost 40 years! Thank you for letting us see the beauty of the world and of people through your lens.
In paying tribute to Isaac, Legarda shared a photo with her friend during their trip to Venice, Italy in 2018. She said their photograph was “precious.”
“Rest In Peace. We love you. Thank you for your friendship. Sincerest condolences to your dear husband @chocol8tman Jayson. I am in tears. 
” she said.
