Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte lambasted Special Envoy to China Mon Tulfo for being disrespectful and judgmental for claiming she plans to run for vice president to spite her father and Senator Bong Go.
Sara reposted on her Facebook page Wednesday (October 27) her letter to the Philippine Star’s editor calling Tulfo’s October 26 column “chismis” (gossip).
The mayor included a caption slamming Tulfo for disrespecting her by writing falsehoods.
Mga lalaking bastos at mapanghusga,” she added.
Sara advised her supporters not to allow themselves to be disrespected due to age, gender or beliefs.
“Wag niyo payagan na kayo ay Tulfohin,” she said.
Tulfo wrote in his Philippine Star column that Sara will be running alongside former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to “upset” Go, who’s seeking the vice presidency, and “unsettle her father.”
He also claimed that Sara “expressed abhorrence over Go’s close bonding” with her father during her recent Cebu visit.
