Vice presidential aspirant Walden Bello is serious in selling the wax figure of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos to the world famous Madame Tussauds if elected in 2022.
The former Akbayan representative has even thrown the late dictator’s son and namesake, former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr., into his bargain offer to the wax museum. He made the offer via a Facebook post titled “BARGAIN DEAL WITH MADAME TUSSAUDS, HK.”
“After watching me on CNN, some media asked if I was serious about selling Marcos Sr’s waxen figure to Madame Tussauds in HK after exhuming it at Libingan,” he wrote on Facebook.
“I am serious, and I am willing to include the living, breathing Bongbong in the bargain,” he said.
Bello is the running mate of presidential aspirant Leody de Guzman in the 2022 elections. The presidential tandem has bared their campaign platform, including the recovery of Marcos ill-gotten wealth billion, imposition of a wealth tax, and ban on contractualization, and revival of agriculture and manufacturing sectors.
