According to Edmund Araga, President of the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), the association has been working tirelessly to promote and advance the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in the country. However, there has been a misconception that EVAP does not support the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) position of scrapping import tariffs for two-wheel electric-motorcycles.
