The country has additional medical supplies thanks to Senator Sherwin Gatchalian and the assistance of Philippine Air Force (PAF).
Gatchalian announced on social media about the delivery of medical supplies, including face masks and personal protective equipment sets needed by health workers.
“Mahalaga ang kaligtasan ng ating mga kababayan. Para makatulong, magbibigay po tayo ng 20,000 pieces of PPE, 3,000 face shields, 3,000 goggles, 100,000 gloves, 42,000 KN-95 face masks, at 500,000 surgical face masks sa National Task Force COVID-19 ngayong hapon,” Gatchalian said.
The latest batch of medical aid was transported by an Air Force team led by Col. Federico Enriquez. The supplies will be delivered to the government task force on the coronavirus response.
