Retired corporal Winston Ragos, who was shot dead by a police officer at a quarantine checkpoint, was laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City on Sunday.
A tweet of Super Radyo dzBB reporter Luisito Santos showed that Ragos was buried with full military honors.
Ragos was shot dead by Police Master Sergeant Daniel Florendo Jr. in Barangay Pasong Putik, Quezon City last April 21, after a heated standoff.
The 34-year-old retired soldier was said to have battled post-traumatic disorder after tours of duty.
The Quezon City Police District filed a homicide complaint against Florendo on Friday.
