Somebody’s gotta do it: Korina gives Mar, dogs a quarantine haircut

If she considers an alternative career, television host Korina Sanchez can open a beauty salon.

The ABS-CBN broadcaster picked up a pair of scissors and gave her hubby former Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas a free haircut while stuck at home during the quarantine period. The haircut session came after Korina gave their three dogs a trim at home.

“Ok, so dahil nag practice na sa dogs…pwede na sa husband 😁🤣😂,” Korina wrote on Facebook.

She said Mar’s hair makeover turned out, well, slightly okay. She nearly cut her husband’s ears with her shears while trimming his unruly hair.

“Ok naman. Muntik ko lang magupit ang tenga…and mejo baku bako ang bandang patilya. 😬 Well, somebody’s got to do it. And wala namang bayad. 🤨 Pero ayaw talaga niya mag ahit🙄. Para-paraan nalang.💚#BestLife,” she said.

Earlier, Korina had a grooming session for their three family dogs. She said cutting their dogs’ hair especially around the eyes would help promote their safety and health.

She posted a video of the grooming session on her Facebook page.

“You might be forgetting. Your fur babies also need grooming. It is a matter of their needs and safety and health, too. Nails that are too long are painful on their paws when they walk. Trim! And mahirap na makakita kung mashado na mahaba ang hair sa may mata. It is also getting hotter by the day. So figure a way to cut your dogs’ hair. Like ME!” she said.
