Junk shops can operate under modified quarantine: Basta may social distancing!

By Prince Golez

The operations of junk shops may resume under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ), MalacaƱang said.

But, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque advised workers to strictly maintain a safe distance from each other.

On Saturday, Metro Manila and seven other areas were placed under MECQ until May 31.

Under this condition, more establishments have been allowed to operate. Public transportation, on one hand, remains suspended in areas under modified quarantine.
