Kasama si Bong Go! Duterte likely to fly back to Manila on Tuesday – Palace

President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to return to Manila on May 19, his spokesman said.

Duterte flew home to Davao City yesterday as Metro Manila shifted to modified enhanced community quarantine which allows some industries and services to reopen.

“After 67 days po, not just two months. Ito po iyong pinakamatagal na panahon na ginugol niya sa Metro Manila mula po noong siya ay nag-aral bilang isang estudyante, at pinayagan naman po siyang umuwi ni Mayor Sara matapos pong magkaroon ng GCQ (general community quarantine) sa Davao City,” according to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

Asked if the President was going to stay long in Davao, Roque said: “Sandali lang po, sandali lang po. Alam ko po ay mayroong meeting na naka-schedule sa Malacañang ng Tuesday.”

In an interview on dzBB, Roque shared that Duterte was accompanied by his former aide and constant companion Senator Christopher “Bong” Go on the trip to Davao.

“Magkasabay po silang umuwi ni Senator Bong Go,” the secretary added.
