Palace assures gov’t aid for victims of ‘Ambo’

By Prince Golez

Families affected by Typhoon “Ambo” are assured of assistance from the government, Malacañang said.

During the Laging Handa program aired on state-run PTV-4 Saturday, Roque condoled with families of the victims who died due to the typhoon.

“Nakikiramay po tayo at nakikiisa po doon sa mga dinaanan ng bagyong Ambo,” he said.

The storm left four people dead in Eastern Visayas and Quezon province.

Roque also said that the government was prepared for the impact of Ambo, which is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Monday.
