Show compassion! Robredo asks GrabFood to give riders commission ASAP, remove cancel order option

Learning about the difficulties in food delivery, Robredo said she plans to ask Grab to give the riders their commission as soon as possible.

The veep shared on Facebook a message she received on Viber about the sad plight of food riders and echoed appeals for compassion, respect and gratitude to them. The message included an appeal to the public not to cancel food orders while riders wait in long line just to order their food and deliver it to their doorstep.

“COMPASSION is being asked of us now, more than ever,” Robredo said in a Facebook post.

“After this post, i will write a formal letter to Grab to be considerate in making sure that the commission of these riders are given the soonest time possible, remove the cancellation option once order is placed, and do not charge it to the rider,” she said.
