Locsin wants ABS-CBN to return on the air: It’s still the ‘best’ network, the rest are ‘amateurs’

A former Kapamilya host is backing the return of ABS-CBN media giant on the air.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddyboy Locsin Jr. said ABS-CBN should be allowed to resume operations since it is the “best” television network in terms of news and entertainment.

Locsin previously hosted “The Assignment” on Channel 2, the “Teditorial” segment of the World Tonight on ANC television. His last ANC program was “No Filter” before he was drafted by Duterte to become
the country’s representative to the United Nations in 2016.

In his latest post on Twitter, Locsin commended ABS-CBN for its brand of truthful reporting while other entities are just “amateurs.” He commented on an ABS-CBN tweet on the status of local airports,
including those that are allowed and not allowed to operate during the quarantine.

“Thank you for that piece of truth. This is why ABSCBN should be back on the air: it is still best at providing what the public needs to know: facts and entertainment. The rest are amateurs,” Locsin tweeted.
