Kahit murahin pa: Duterte won’t violate proposed anti-terror law, says Bato

By JOHN CARLO M. CAHINHINAN

Administration Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa has assured critics of the Duterte administration that freedom of speech will remain once the anti-terror bill is finally signed into law.

In an interview with radio DZBB, Dela Rosa said even cursing public officials, particularly President Rodrigo Duterte won’t violate the proposed legislation once it is finally implemented.

“Yung kanilang mere expression klaro eh.

He also dismissed the disinformation campaign being disseminated by critics of the measure that future Anti-Terrorism Council (ATC) can be utilized to shut down the political opposition.

“Mali yan. very clear na disinformation yan.

According to Dela Rosa, the ATC will hold list of all verified terrorist organizations and not the law enforcement agencies.

“ATC is the one holding the list of all terrorist organization.
