Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has launched another blistering rebuke of President Duterte and his administration over alleged mishandling of the reopening of the economy in the face of the pandemic.
Trillanes, in his latest post on Twitter, described the Duterte administration as the “worst in history.” The former rebel soldier also called for an end to the government’s alleged incompetence.
“Sobra na talaga sa kapalpakan, katangahan at kasamaan itong administrasyong ito. You are the worst in history. This simply cannot go on,” he tweeted.
The government earlier started to loosen the lockdown restrictions across the country, allowing more businesses to reopen and workers to go back to work.
The first day of Metro Mania’s shift to general community quarantine however has been marred by glitches including shortage of public transportation. Many workers were left stranded on the roads while reportedly while others walked to their destinations.
