Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Epimaco Densing III tested positive for COVID-19, he revealed Saturday (July 4).
In a Facebook post, Densing said he made his condition public as a government official.
“I am now being taken cared of at the hospital of my choice and my body has been responding positively,” he said.
Densing urged the public to take care of themselves as he conceded that stress could’ve played a role in his sickness.
“Maaring bumagsak ang aking resisiyensya sa dami ng problema at paggdedesisyong na kailangan gawin ng walang pinipipiling oras na nakakaapekto sa buhay ng kakararami. At natsambahan sa isang maikling pagkaktaon na dumaan ang virus sa pangagatawan ko,” he said.
