Stricter lockdown measures will be reintroduced in Metro Manila if it reverts back to a modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) after July 31, Malacañang said Friday.
In an interview with GMA’s “Unang Hirit,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said that certain sectors would be prohibited to operate.
There will also be limited operations of public utility transport, according to him.
Metro Manila has been under the more relaxed general community quarantine since June 1.
