President Rodrigo Duterte has started rehearsing for his fifth and penultimate State of the Nation Address (SONA), Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said Sunday.
In a Dobol B sa News TV interview, Andanar said Duterte first rehearsed for his annual speech Friday night and will have his last full rehearsal tonight.
“Noong Friday night, tapos okay naman, swabe naman iyong pag-practice, iyong pag-rehearse ni Presidente,” the chief of the Presidential Communications Operations Office said.
Duterte, he added, had certain parts of his speech revised.
“Mayroon siyang mga nakitang dapat lang baguhin doon sa kaniyang speech. Tapos kagabi mayroong additional pa na mga pagbabago. I understand ngayong gabi ang final rehearsal,” sai Andanar.
“Mayroon siyang pina-edit doon sa kaniyang speech. Tapos ngayong gabi na ito, I understand there will be another rehearsal. Ewan ko lang kung matutuloy. Pero so far, so good. Gusto ni Presidente ay maisama ang mga dapat lang maisama sa talumpati,” he said.
