The King of Public Service @raffytulfoinaction made me feel so welcome… i’m very much aware kung sino lang po ako sa mundo ng Tv5 (baguhan na maraming dapat patunayan) and that he is their reigning king (not to mention the fact that he is the 🇵🇭 King of YouTube). But, Raffy & his kind staff lent me his dressing/conference room and told me to feel free to use it anytime i’m in the compound. They also lent his studio for my promo shoot. And he went out of his way to come down when he knew patapos na ko so that we could meet face to face… kahit alam ko naman fina-flatter lang nya ko when he said “mas magandang maganda ka sa person” – hindi nya kinailangan to be nice to me that’s why it was all the more appreciated. P.S. i really wasn’t going to post our face to face meet up, but nakita ko that they had kaya i felt okay na to upload so that i could also tell all of you that if 1st impressions really matter- sobrang mas napahanga ako sa pagka gentleman & sa generosity ni Raffy Tulfo.

Felt so good to walk into my office after working from home for 126 days, counted from my last day in the Senate premises when I sponsored the Bayanahihan to Heal as One Act. Although working from home has been very productive, I missed the bright sunlight in my office, the paintings, the plants, the photos and collections of memorabilia that I collected over the years. And of course the people I work with. 😂 Btw, those paintings on the floor are made by inmates in the Tagaytay correctional. I’ll be getting more soon to support local artists. My outfits for the matching mask is designed by the amazing @michaelleyva_ highlighting indigenous fabric by the Mandaya tribe called dagmay embellished with local beadwork. I’m also wearing the brooch of the Philippine Fashion coalition that signifies my support for the local fashion industry.

Three weeks ago we had a virtual interview and shoot for the 41st Anniversary of @philippinestar proudly wearing @filipinna 👗 and @tish.ph 👠 This is my answer to @jcbuendia_ ‘s challenge where I pledge to wear Filipino made every Friday in an effort to support our artisans, designers, creatives, businesses, and our beloved local fashion industry. Let’s empower the Filipino Fashion Industry and inspire each other by wearing a Filipino-made piece (old or new) and posting a photo or video of you. Celebrate our creativity as a nation and champion its preservation. #FFF #FilipinoFashionFridays #PFC #PhilippineFashionCoalition #FDCP #FDCPxPFC #FashionAndDesignCouncilOfThePhilippines #BuyFilipino #BeLoyalToLocal #LoveLocal #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines 🇵🇭
