In a lead up to SMC Tollways-operated expressways (Skyway, SLEX, STAR, TPLEX) shifting to electronic cashless payment as early as October, motorists can now choose to load their Autosweep RFID online.
Autosweep RFID accounts may now be loaded through the following partner banks: Bank of Commerce, Union Bank, BPI, Chinabank, Maybank as well as through GCash, Eon, Coins.ph, and JustPay.To.
This new payment option is convenient for motorists who don’t have a credit card or do not want to use the automatic debit arrangement (ADA).
The steps involved vary per bank, but in general it will require motorists to register their Autosweep account number with the partner bank. They can then choose to top up their load at their own convenience.
