Bong Revilla thanks doctors, nurses: I am beating COVID-19

Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. is on the road to recovery from the new coronavirus disease.

Revilla shared on Facebook that he is “beating” the coronavirus, thanks to the care of his doctors and nurses.

The senator was rushed to the hospital on August 18 after developing pneumonia. He tested positive for the virus on August 9.

“Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat na hindi bumitaw at tuloy-tuloy na nagdasal para sa aking kalusugan. I am responding well to the treatment and medication, and with your prayers, I am beating
COVID-19,” Revilla wrote on Facebook.

Revilla expressed gratitude to the Lord for His “healing hands” through the health professionals looking after him and other coronavirus patients. He also prayed for the strength of the health frontliners in the fight against the pandemic.

“Thank you dear God for guiding all health workers and giving them the strength to push on in these difficult times, and blessing them with your healing hands for them to in turn heal us,” he said.

“Salamat sa mga doktor at nurse na susi sa aking paggaling at paggaling ng marami nating mga kababayan. Thank you all. Thank you,” he said.
