Mag-bonding kasama pamilya: Palace shortens working hours for executive branch employees

MalacaƱang has shortened the working hours for employees in the executive branch Monday (September 28) so they can spend more time with their families.

In a memorandum circular dated September 25 but released Monday, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea said working hours will be suspended from 3:30 p.m. onwards. This is to allow employees to celebrate the Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day.

However, agencies whose functions involve the delivery of health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services are exempted from the work suspension.

Medialdea said the suspension of work in other branches of government and the private sector is also encouraged.
