Ok ka ba tiyan? Imee Marcos gives out ‘Nutribun’ for dad’s 103rd birthday

Senator Imee Marcos revived the vitamin-packed “Nutribun” to mark the 103rd birthday of her late father, the dictator Ferdinand Marcos.

Frontliners at the Lung Center of the Philippines were among those who received the bread, according to a Reddit post. A photo of the Nutribun showed images of Imee and her father on the packaging with the tagline, “Imeesolusyon.”

The Nutribun was popular during the 1970s as part of the school feeding program under the Marcos administration. The bread was given to students to combat malnutrition.

Marcos’ wife, Imelda, claimed credit for the project even though it was funded by the United States.
