President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Court of Appeals (CA) Justice Ricardo Rosario to the Supreme Court.
This was confirmed by Rosario himself to CNN Philippines Friday.
Rosario, 62, will replace Associate Justice Jose Reyes, Jr., who retired last month.
The newly appointed SC justice graduated from the Ateneo Law School.
Prior to his promotion to the CA in 2005, Rosario served the Makati City Regional Trial Court.
