#RollyPH: Where is President Duterte?

By Prince Golez

President Rodrigo Duterte is closely monitoring the track of the typhoon “Rolly” in Davao City, his spokesperson said.

Palace Spokesman Harry Roque led the situation briefing on the typhoon at the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council, Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City Sunday. He was joined by other government officials who gave updates on the disaster response operations for the typhoon.

Duterte is scheduled to fly back to Metro Manila on Tuesday, according to Roque.

Asked if Duterte will visit the areas affected by the typhoon, Roque said: “Nagmo-monitor po ang ating Presidente.

Weather bureau PAGASA earlier raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 5 over Camarines Sur and Albay. On one hand, Metro Manila and other areas in Southern Luzon were placed under Signal no. 4.
