President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered concerned government agencies to be on standby to ensure assistance to the victims of typhoon “Rolly.”
“Ang mandato po ng Presidente gawin ang lahat nang maisalba na naman ang ating kababayan dito sa trahedya ng super typhoon ‘Rolly’,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said during a televised briefing on the government’s disaster response Sunday.
Roque said all the departments are ready for the immediate provision of assistance when needed.
“On call po ang lahat ng kalihim ng ibat-ibang departamento, lalo na po yung mga departamento na magbibigay ng tulong sa panahon ng bagyong ito,” according to him.
“Kaya nga po regular o itong ginagawa nating pagpupulong sa NDRRMC (National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council) nang sa ganun lahat ng pangangailangan maibigay kaagad,” he added.
