President Rodrigo Duterte met with Bangsamoro Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim in Davao City Monday.
In the photo Bangsamoro Government posted on Facebook, Duterte was seen speaking to Ebrahim and other government officials.
“Chief Minister Ebrahim briefed the president with the significant accomplishments of the Bangsamoro Government, including the progress of the priority codes and legislative acts that the Bangsamoro Transition Authority need to enact,” the caption read.
The emerging challenges in the peace process and the opportunities for partnership and collaboration in moving forward were also discussed during the meeting.
Ebrahim was accompanied by Executive Secretary Abdulraof Macacua, Interior Minister Naguib Sinarimbo, Cabinet Secretary Mohd Asnin Pendatun, and Attorney-General Sha Elijah Dumama-Alba.
Also present in the meeting were Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Finance Secretary Carlos “Sonny” Dominguez III, Budget Secretary Wendel Avisado, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, Interior Secretary Eduardo Año, and Presidential Adviser on Peace Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr.
