One big thank you: Jojo Binay salutes relief and rescue workers

Former Vice President Jojo Binay is paying tribute to the brave rescue and relief personnel aiding the people affected by the typhoons that lashed parts of the country.

In a Facebook post, Binay commended the sacrifices of these frontliners during the storm season. He also prayed for the frontliners who died while on the line of duty.

Binay also offered prayers for the communities severely hit by the recent typhoons.

The number of fatalities from typhoon Ulysses rose to more than 70, based on the report of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council. The storm brought heavy rains and strong winds that induced massive floods in Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon.
