The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) has further cemented its reputation as one of the country’s top 10 medical schools.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno took pride of the achievement of the state-run university after many medical students passed the latest physician licensure examination. The politiko sent his congratulations to those who passed the exams in his latest Facebook post.
“Binabati ko po ang Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila sa inyong pagkamit ng ika-apat na pwesto sa Top Medical Schools ng ating bansa!” he wrote on Facebook.
“Nagkamit po sila ng passing rate na 97.58% sa nagdaang Physician Licensure Examinations,” he said.
He also extended his congratulations to Czarina Angelli L. Anastacio and Ernest Paul Y. Calasanz who both ranked seventh in the list of board passers.
The mayor also commended PLM President Emmanuel Leyco and PLM College of Medicine Dean Angeline Alabastro, MD for the latest triumph. “Mabuhay ang mga bago nating mga doktor!Manila, God first!” he said.
